Multi-Lon is a clean, high-performance braided yarn integrated with PTFE, graphite and a high-temperature lubricant to control frictional heat and shaft galling. It's designed to run long service lives under demanding dynamic conditions — and is an excellent companion to G-PAC gland packing compound.
Unlike legacy asbestos-based packings, Multi-Lon is safer to handle, cleaner in service, and compliant with modern workplace standards. It won't hydrolyse, harden, dry-up, shrink or swell in storage or in service.

A special packing manufactured from carbon-fibre yarn, thoroughly impregnated with naturally cured graphite-based interim dispersion as a blocking agent. The interbraid construction and blocking agent prevent body leakage of any gaseous or liquid material. A molybdenum-based metal corrosion inhibitor is incorporated to prevent galvanic corrosion on steam service.
